Head of Accounting

Job description

As the head of our new accounting department you are fully responsible for the financial accounts and the management reporting of the company. This includes all processes ensuring the correctness and validity of the legal financial statements, the tax reporting and the handling of the financial matters of the company. As such you will collaborate with our tax adviser, auditor and our bank. You will report to the Regional Director Finance who will strongly support all your activities. We would like to fill the vacancy at the earliest possible date.  As we will have to setup all accounting processes from the very bottom you can actively help forming the organization of the new department.

Your profile

  • Graduated Accountant
  • Min. 3 years working experience in the accounting department of a production company
  • Detailed knowledge in all fields of financial accounting
  • Detailed knowledge about Czech tax law, especially VAT and Corporate tax
  • Strong system skills including bookkeeping software and MS Excel
  • Very good language abilities in English or German
  • Willingness to take over responsibility
  • Good communication skills and pleasant manner
