Operating and Monitoring under GMP Conditions in Zones 2 and 22
VisuNet GMP – For use in Zone 2 and Zone 22
Operator workstations in the VisuNet GMP product line may now be used in Zones 2 and 22. This offers several advantages for monitoring and control of processes in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical and food processing. PCs and monitors with the same look and feel can be used in much larger areas of production plants, since the workstations now operate in Zone 2 & 22 areas.
Operator workstations designed for safe operation in Zone 1 can be expensive. Zone 1 solutions have been the solution for Zone 2 and 22 applications because they meet the stringent needs of the all hazardous areas, due in large part to limited availability of a suitable Zone 2 approved solution. Zone 1 workstations are a safe but costly solution for Zone 2 and 22 areas. With Visunet GMP Ex2 workstations, many operating and observation tasks can be relocated from Zone 1 or 21 to Zone 2 or 22, achieving considerable cost savings.
The VisuNet Ex2 GMP type operator workstations are available as Panel PCs and as network-compatible Remote Monitors, equipped with 19" displays and touchscreen options. Numerous language keyboard layouts, mouse versions, as well as mounting versions are available, and are compatible with each other.
